Bad Company Racing LLCThe story behind the program
Founder & driver

Richard Hood.

Bad Company Racing is built on a lifetime around motorsports, a hands-on work ethic, and the belief that the work behind a race car matters just as much as the number on the board.

The beginning

Started young. Stayed in it.

Richard Hood has been around motorsports since he was seven years old. The pull was never just the noise or the speed—it was the work, the problem-solving, and the people who show up when something has to be figured out.

That early start grew into real race-team experience, including roughly three years as car chief with the Kimmel Racing ARCA operation. That time taught the kind of preparation, accountability, and calm under pressure that still drives the way BCR works today.
